The first thing you need to do is to log in.

log in

You can go to the login form by clicking on the login link in the right menu bar that appears on the editable pages. The login form only requires a password (no username). You will receive a password that expires after three months. If you wish to continue working on the translation, you will receive a new password.

The password that you received only works for the language that you are translating. Logging in to the English pages will not work with a password that gives you editing privileges over, for example, the Croatian pages.

When you are logged in, the pages may look slightly different. This is caused by links that are only visible when you are authorised to edit the page you are looking at.

translator's menu

One of the things that appear when you are logged in is the translator's menu. This menu allows you to do things that readers cannot do, such as editing pages, breadcrumbs, and menubars. It also contains a link to the translator's panel. The first link you see is the log out link. A very important link!

If you do not actively log out, you will remain logged in until you close your browser. Bear this in mind when you are working on a public computer! We really do not want to give complete strangers editing privileges on this website.
