De weg naar het station

Reina: Goedemiddag mevrouw. Bent u hier bekend?

Joke: Ja, ik woon hier vlakbij.

Reina: Kunt u mij vertellen hoe ik bij het station kom?

Joke: Het station, eh, even denken...
U gaat de tweede weg rechtsaf, dan bij de rotonde rechtdoor en bij het verkeerslicht links.

Reina: De tweede weg rechts, bij de rotonde rechtdoor en bij het verkeerslicht links, oké.
Ik moet de trein van tien over half vier hebben. Haal ik dat nog?

Joke: Hoe laat is het nu?

Reina: Eh, kwart over drie.

Joke: Als u een beetje doorloopt, dan lukt dat wel.

Reina: Oké, dan ga ik maar gauw. Dank u wel!

Joke: Graag gedaan, daag!

Reina: Doei!

The way to the train station

Reina: Good afternoon, madam. Are you familiar here?

Joke: Yes, I live nearby.

Reina: Could you tell me the way to the train station?

Joke: The train station, uh, let me think.
You turn to the right at the second road (that you cross), then straight ahead at the roundabout and at the traffic lights to the left.

Reina: The second road to the right, straight ahead at the roundabout and at the traffic lights to the left, okay. I have to catch the 3:40 pm train. Will I still make it on time?

Joke: What's the time now?

Reina: Uh, a quarter past three.

Joke: If you walk fast, you should make it.
