Indefinite numbers

By indefinite number, we do not mean a huge, infinite number but a variable number. An indefinite number does not give us a specific quantity but only a rough idea, e.g. many, some, several, or a few.

On the following pages, we will discuss the most common indefinite numbers.

On the summary page, you can have a look at all of them at once.

The Dutch indefinite numbers can be a bit confusing as several of them also function as adjectives. Where this is the case, we will discuss the adjectival form in a separate paragraph.
