Which is the correct order among RP and EHD?

[woordvolgorde]
According to many, the word order is one of the hardest parts of the Dutch language. If you are also struggling with subordinate clauses, inversion and the like, this is the place to be.

Which is the correct order among RP and EHD?

Post by k.tihanyi » Fri Nov 28, 2014 2:02 am

The following two sentences are taken from an exercise relative to the usage of the pronominal adverbs. Under the sentences I copied the expected solutions:

Basing on the word order rules the reflexive pronoun (RP) should be in the left part of the sentence (zich in this case), while „er”, as part of EHD in the middle part. Should not be the correct solutions then the following?

and

Thanks in advance

Both word orders are possible so your solution is also correct :)
