CV/resume help Amsterdam

If you have any plans to move to Holland or if you have already settled there, this is the place to discuss the Inburgeringsexamen ('integration' exam for immigrants), NT2 (Dutch as a second language), and studying at Flemish or Dutch schools and universities.

Hallo Eastcity,

If you search the internet for 'sollicitatieadvies' AND 'cv' AND 'Amsterdam', you will find many agencies (loopbaanbegeleiding, outplacementbureaus, ...) that can give you professional advice.

A good online (and free) resource is http://www.leren.nl/rubriek/loopbaan/solliciteren/cv/.

Veel succes!

I don't know if this is what you want but you can always create an Europass. That's an european cv standard.

Keep your CV clear and concise. choose the right format for your CV. Your name, address, phone number, email address should be centered at the top of the page You should include sections such as your objective, Achievements, Experience, Special Skills (languages spoken / computers knowledge), Education, Training, and Interests. Write a short statement summarizing the career field you are interested in. for example To obtain a position in the IT as a Computer engineer. List your qualifications in order of relevance, from most to least. Quantify your experience wherever possible. Begin sentences with action verbs. Make sure to proofread your resume
