Dutch citizenship exam abroad.

If you have any plans to move to Holland or if you have already settled there, this is the place to discuss the Inburgeringsexamen ('integration' exam for immigrants), NT2 (Dutch as a second language), and studying at Flemish or Dutch schools and universities.

Dutch citizenship exam abroad.

Post by kmar85 » Sat Jun 22, 2013 11:45 am

Dear members,
I am Russian citizen married to Dutch citizen for 4 years and we both legally residing in Hungary last 2 years.
I'd like to apply for Dutch citizenship based on 3 years marriage.
I would like to know what kind of exam is necessary to pass in order to apply for Dutch passport. I expect to have the exam to be taken abroad in the embassy/consulate in Budapest (actually exams are taken in Zagreb, Croatia now).
I would be very much appreciated to have as much as possible information regarding the type of exam needed to be taken and procedure of the exam; materials to be able to prepare for the exam.
Please share your experience.

Thanks in advance,

Hope to hear from you.
