Taxes

Postby kwalijkje » September 2nd, 2008, 5:40 pm

My plans for moving are slowly coming to fruition. Yay! :D
But I recently had a wake-up call, and realised I have no idea what taxes I'd have to pay. They can't be too different from the English taxes, but can anyone fill me in on what types of tax I should be expecting to pay?
Cheers

Which country? :P Belgium and the Netherlands are rather different in that regard, I think - Belgium has the highest tax burden in the world after Sweden, the Netherlands somewhat less so (though probably still somewhat higher than British taxes).

Netherlands. I was thinking about Belgium, but should stay close to the family, and stick to one language at a time. :P

Hoi kwalijkje,
