How do you say daddy-long-legs in Dutch? How many ways are there to say "thank you" or "you're welcome"? Post everything about vocabulary here.

If you're going to ask such specific questions, maybe giving a little more information about what exactly you mean would be helpful. :P I know as much about football as the next guy, I'd think, but I'm still not entirely sure what exactly you're referring to with that term - whether it's something specific or merely a playing style with short passes. And of course a number of other native speakers may well know less about football.

By the way, please ask vocabulary questions like this in the vocabulary forum, I keep having to move your threads. :P

Ask señor Messi or de heer Affelay! :) I'm no native speaker for sure but I can use google with confidence. 8) Spel met korte passes is fine. Eg. 'Hier wordt echt voetbal gespeeld met veel korte passes, snel en offensief.' (jupilerleague.nl)
