Kan iemand me uitleggen wat opsporingsdiensten zijn? Google translate zegt dat het ''investigation services'' zijn, klopt dat?

Dat klopt wel. Opsporingsdiensten zijn organisaties zoals de politie, interpol etc. die misdadigers of vermiste mensen opsporen, d.w.z. trachten te vinden.

Spoor= "trace, track". Opsporen is "to track, to follow someone's trail". Dienst ="service".
