How is it correct?
1) Vandaag is het zaterdag.
2) Vandaag is zaterdag.
3) Het is vaandag zaterdag.
4) Heden is het zaterdag.
5) Heden is zaterdag.
6) Het is heden zaterdag.

Allemaal juist, maar "heden" is erg formeel. Iets uit een juridisch document of zo.
It is all correct, but "heden" is very formal, something found in a legal document or so.
