Online Language Level Test?

Hello board,

Does anyone know a good website where you can test your Dutch language level (taal niveau)? To determine if it's A1, A2, B1 etc.

And how reliable those online tests would be? I've studied some Dutch on my own, but now I'm thinking to attend a course and I need to find out what my level is first. And it'd be good to just know of a website like that to keep track of my progress.

Thank you.

I found this website, that promises to test what you want to know: http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/researchente ... /about.htm
I didn't try it though. You have to download something.

Here you can read what the different levels mean: http://www.languages.unimaas.nl/niveaus ... nglish.htm

Hey Joke,

Thanks.
I downloaded Dialang and both java versions but it didn't run, unfortunately. :-( Oh well, maybe it'll work for someone else.

And thank you for the language levels link. I kind of know what the requirements are for each level but it's hard to determine it for myself. Since, you know, I might be incredibly biased.

I had now time to test it, but it doesn't work here either.
Too bad... Sounds like a useful tool.

I agree that it's hard to judge yourself based on the list with requirements, but at least it gives you some idea.

Thanks you, Joke, for Dialang.
At first it wouldn't launch on my computer, but it worked with the older version of Java.
Indeed very useful tool. Mut I must say, that the results may be a bit odd, I've got B2 niveau in reading, but I hardly know Dutch — A1 a mpst.
