Quizlet and memrise

Quizlet https://quizlet.com/ is website that allows people to use an electronic cue card system. Memrise has a similar system. It is definitely an attractive way of acquiring vocabulary. That is of course a major task when learning a language, although it is not enough to learn to speak it well, because all context is missing.

I wonder if any of our learners have experience with using these sites. Quizlet has a multitude of Dutch word sets. One being mine, I put the 56 most common words on it this morning.

I know Memrise but I've never tried it yet (I just follow their Facebook page 'cause they're really funny). I guess I'll try them both now.
