krijg nou wat!

[modale partikels]
The Dutch use words like 'nou', 'toch', 'hoor', 'maar', 'wel', 'eens', or 'even' to modify the tone of a sentence. Their only function is to reflect the mood or attitude of the speaker. In spoken Dutch, there is hardly a phrase that does not contain one of these hard-to-explain words.

It's an exclamation of surprise, kind of like "well I'll be damned!" in English.

That is what it refers to. Next to "Krijg nou wat!", we often use "Krijg nou + disease" ("Krijg nou de tering", "Krijg nou de tyfus", "Krijg nou de pleuris", etc.).

So,"krijg nou wat!" and "krijgt nou tandtjes/tienen/whatever" both still mean "I´ll be damned"?
