Verb blaten

I wanted to know why is that the verb blaten is conjugated as blat. I thought I had to make the long a, stay I wrote BLAAT. But then I checked in the ver conjugator and it's wrong... why???????

Hoi Lieffie,

You are right: The stem of blaten is blaat. Unfortunately, verbixis not completely flawless. I just sent them an e-mail about it. If you come across another mistake, do let them know. It is a wonderful project but it depends on volunteers (like people sending corrections!) to maintain the quality.
