Hoi allemaal. Not sure whre to put this, it might belong in laughs and learning, but since it had to do with the show I'm putting it here; please feel free to move it.
Last night I dreamed about the show, yep, it was very funny. I dreamed that I had to go and taste the tongbreker thee!
I actually went somewhere and got some tea, then for some reason went home and tasted it there.
There's no understanding dreams.
So when I tasted it it was really good, lol. There was also a Dutch person there talking to me and saying "de kat krabt de krullen van de trap" and I tried to say that too, I said it ok I tink.
The funny thing was the Dutch person didn't sound very Dutch.
I don't know who it was, she didn't give a name, but I guess it was the owner of the company who made the tongbreker thee.
Funny that that would be in my city and not in the lowlands.
Anyway, it was very funny and quite an entertaining dream so thought I'd share it here.
Groetjes uit Canada

Listened to this a bit today, thanks Que
Just really hard to hear it but I understand you had some microphone problems. So I'll do some listening a bit more and work on it this week if i can find some free time...

Ok well here it is, now i really need some tongbrekerthee myself. I didn't listen to it myself. It's the whole commercial, think i breathed once. That and acapela demo is broken again for me, so it was just listening and well listening.

You have a nice voice, Jeff. I'll let others comment on whether your pronunciation is understandable.

I've edited the tongbrekerthee commercial a bit and made the list of flavours a bit shorter. (You did a great job, Jeff, but it was quite long). This is the new text:
Zit je tong in de knoop na een dag vol Nederlandse tongbrekers? Ontspan met een stomende kop weldadige Tongbrekerthee, de thee die je tong gegarandeerd uit de knoop haalt!
Onze gepatenteerde formule is effectief gebleken tegen de negatieve effecten van herhaaldelijke alliteratie. En het komt in diverse lekkere smaken, zoals
en nu ook in pindasmaak.
Tongbrekerthee, de wonderthee voor tongen.

Although I'd put something in there to 'sell' the product like...
Tongbrekerthee is the choice of professional tongbrekers everywhere.
hehe, cause i sure needed some after recording it myself.
Now if I knew which word's I need more pratice on that would be helpfull as would samples.
But honestly, give me feedback as to overall how it was. Lol, don't be afraid to tell it like it is, i've a thick skin.

Could we recover the word 'vermoeide'?
Tongbrekerthee, de wonderthee voor vermoeide tongen.
Or at least something that means about the same thing? The Tea for Tongues somewhat misses the point.
I think that was one of the words Jeff needed more practice on

Well I think there were three or four that I was pretty good at :P .
Expect more ear bleedings soonish, assuming I can get my tounge around gegarandeerd and gepatenteerde.

I added some sound effects to the radio-show (doorbell, doors opening and closing, clock striking nine - see my eSnips). Maybe someone else can add some music at the start and the beginning of the play, I cannot find any appropriate music.

More of me, it's soft but hopefully understandable.
And a bit more of the same, i think i'm getting worse.

Is that your final version, Jeff? If so, this thing can be finished today!

As far as I know it is.

Is anybody working on the final bits? Is there still something that needs to be done? I can't wait to hear the final result!
