Diploma recognition and level indication in Dutch

hi ...am new to the forum
and was wondering if it is possible to transfer my english diploma over to an equivalent over here in The Netherlands... and if so how do i go about doing it?
if anyone can post some info i'd be really grateful. :)

Where are you from? If you're British, it should be really easy, thanks to European standards. I'd try contacting the school where I want to study and ask them what to do :)

am not wanting to study, wanting to look for work....am re-doing my CV in dutch and was advised that i should put the diploma's etc to the dutch equivalent...hence the question...lol

the diploma = het diploma
two diplomas = twee diploma's

But you can find it in any dictionary, can't you.

P.S. In Nederland wordt een universitair diploma ook vaak een bul genoemd. (Bron: Wikipedia) [I think you can only name your diploma a bul when you are talking about the paper itself, otherwise it should simply be called a diploma.]

sorry u misunderstood me...i dont need to translate the word 'diploma' ...i actually need to find out the equivalent to the name of the course/of the diploma and what levels they would be compared to..ie hbo, mbo...that kinda thing...

p.s. been talking dutch for more than 6yrs now so dont need any help with the translation aspect of it..thats the easy bit lol

you can get your diploma's evaluated and translated by Nuffic. Check out http://www.nuffic.nl/nederlandse-organi ... waardering for more info.
Or you could just go to the UWV Werkplein and ask there, I know quite a lot of people who did it that way. It used to be a free service but I don't know if it's still that way.

well checked out the site..dont think i will be sending in my diploma's in for evaluation, it costs 122euros per diploma....too much for me...
but looked further on the nuffic site and found where i can find out for myself:
