Best way to learn the 'structure' of sentences/grammar? (learning Dutch)

Dag,

(excuseer me) Ik heet Brad. Ik spreekt niet goed Nederlands maar ik zout graag beter. :D

How did you guys learn Dutch? Or can you recommend a good way to learn the proper structure of the language. So how to say the right things when speaking to male/female.. they/they're etc...

Sorry I suck at Dutch!

It might help if you explain what 'proper structure of the language' means Brad. Do mean grammar like "een grote auto" versus "een groot huis" or perhaps word order like:

Ik ga morgen naar huis
Morgen ga ik naar huis.
Ik zeg dat ik morgen naar huis ga.

All must be learned and can be learned but some is easier, some is harder.
