You know it is really such a great opportunity to me to meet such a great person like you who is dedicated to answer and explain me throughly.
i really need someone who went through all theses procedures and who seems to have the same situation as i have.( i came here to Holland in the purpose of family reunification).
Thanks alot vicky.
I am originally from Jordan .
(P.S.in the Dutch embassy in Jordan i passed the level A1-min which is required for MVV that is all and i got 57 points out of 100 according to them).
and i moved here in Dec.20th/2008 has been almost here 4 months.
Once i arrived here i applied for the verblifsvergunning and i got it after six weeks from the day i applied (bij de gemeente).
The same day that i had my residence permit (verblifsvergunning)i went willingly to apply for courses(to a so-called inburgeringlokat) and they set March.10th.2009 as a day for an intake to see my Dutch level ,i went there and they tested my dutch in listennint speaking reading and there was a logic test (IQ)!!.
And they said it would take 5 weeks till the result come out and we will send you a letter with your result to your address and another to the Gemeente. and i am still waiting till the moment i have not get it.
Before few days i received a letter from the Gemeente saying that i have to go for intake where i had the test before 5 weeks you know but i think this is a mistake as i did it already so i have to call them and tell them i went there already before 5 weeks.!!!!!
Well Vicky now what i want to ask you clearly is :
Is it a must for me in my case to follow the courses ?
and if yes ;what are the consequences of not following the courses?
Shall i pay for my courses?
What if i went for vacation as i am planning already to do in August for a month and if i miss lessons here what shall i do in prior?
and please tell me other things i need to know regarding this matter as you are experienced in this???
And you said that your level by the ROC proefexamen in Dutch was higher than required can you please Vicky explain that and does that thing applied on me as i am a new comer to holland???which exam and what was your level that time?
in my case' family reunification",will i pay for my courses ?
In my case "familly reunification ",will i be exempted from the courses?
once you arrived to Holland did you immediately started the courses or later you learned it by yourself and then you got the proefexam by the ROC?
Looking forward to hear from you really soon
And i can not thank you enough for contacting me as i was struggling from site to site finding informations regarding this and others but couldn't find trustful source of information ...
i am so happy that finally i found someone who can help me
Vicky alot of THANKS
