I like to watch some episodes of RTV Noord Sport on You Tube. Every time I watch the Noord Sport show, the announcer Eva Hulscher always says the same phrases during the introduction. All of this occurs in the first 15 seconds of a typical show. An example show is http://www.youtube.com/rtvnoord#p/search/0/bOfIsmTh4tEWhen she says "Dit is Noord Sport" at the beginning of the show, what is the word directly after Sport, and before she says the date? And then a very short intro music section plays, and when she appears again, she always states a phrase (at 13 second mark) immediately after the music. Can someone tell me what she is saying? Thanks very much for your help.

Okay. She says "Dit is Noord Sport van maandag 10 september", i.e. "This is Noord Sport, [the episode] of Monday the 10th of September".
The word at 0:13 is "goedenavond", i.e. "good evening".

That's, er, a long time... they hardly seem like the kind of words you'd wonder about for that long? Especially since I don't imagine you understand much else of those videos... Anyway, you're welcome.

Well that makes me sound like I'm some kind of idiot. I haven't been wondering continuously over 1 year. I was watching several Noord Sport programs about a year ago, and wondered about the phrases at the time. Just a few days ago or so I had the occasion to look up a Noord Sport program and then recalled my interest in finding out what the phrases meant. I actively study Japanese so I am accustomed to undertaking some effort to find help with language-related questions. When I recently saw the Noord Sport program I said to myself, "This time I'm going to find someone to translate the phrases."

Fair enough. It just sounded funny the way you put it. And wow, Japanese. Now there's a challenge...
