The stress in the verb schommelen is on the first syllable, making the e (acutally both e's) a mute e. Mute e's are never doubled.Feanor wrote:Also, verb schommelen, to swing. How come in sentence "Tim schommelt" the е isn't doubled? I mean schommelen - schommeelt.
