Hello everyone

I don't really want to formally learn dutch, but as a hobby
My first exposure to dutch was dutch rappers (yes-r, ali-b, the opposites)
I really liked the way it sounded. It sounds way better than german in my opinion. I like the harsh g sound.
I also like the way it looks like when its written.

That's all I have to say

Yes, some Dutch words (e.g. gezellig) sound quite Arabic.
Hebben is hebben, maar krijgen is de kunst.

An ex-colleague of mine who is Moroccan doesn't speak any German, but can say "Gute Nacht" flawlessly. :-D

I also love the fact that they have that sound in Scotland (Loch Ness, Ach !, teuchter) and that English people mostly fail to replicate it.
