I'd simply say 'in bad gaan' for taking a bath. Baden sounds a bit formal.

Dank je voor jullie helpen So If I was going to say "Last night I took a bath" would it be: Gisteravond ging ik in bad. of Gisternacht ging ik in bad. (I presume it would depend on what time I took the bath lol ) bedankt I have enrolled for an NT2 course with NTI. i am very excited about starting it. It had to be sent to a Dutch address but my friend in Holland allowed it to be sent to her address and she has mailed it to me. I am very excited about starting it so I hope my Dutch will improve a lot over the next 12 months.

The word hulp has no plural. So If I was going to say "Last night I took a bath" would it be: Gisteravond ging ik in bad. of Gisternacht ging ik in bad. (I presume it would depend on what time I took the bath lol )
If you took the bath before midnight, you can say gisteravond. If it was later, you'd better say vannacht. Gisternacht is usually understood as the night before gisteren. Vannacht can either refer to last night or comming nigh, depending on the tense of your sentence: Ik heb vannacht bijna niet geslapen = I hardly slept last night. Ik hoop dat ik vannacht goed slaap. = I hope I will sleep well this night. I have enrolled for an NT2 course with NTI. i am very excited about starting it. It had to be sent to a Dutch address but my friend in Holland allowed it to be sent to her address and she has mailed it to me. I am very excited about starting it so I hope my Dutch will improve a lot over the next 12 months.
:) I'd like to hear about your experiences.

Hoi Joke I will share all my experiences on here and I am sure you will see a lot of my work on here too..... I will proberly email Bienke as well because she asked about it too sometime ago. I was going to go with LOI but NTI seemed to be slightly better and I received a 30% discount which was excellent. I just feel I am starting to get somewhere with my Dutch and this course will take me up to the next level which is good. I don't feel good enough to go too acedemic yet. The next level in the UK is ALEVEL and its so advanced and acedemic taking about politics, history, environment etc. Need to concentrate or more simple subjects and perfect my writing and speaking first. They run a few different courses for teaching Dutch. My next challenge is to write a lot more Dutch on here but at the moment it takes so long but I will get there. I have learnt so muchg from you all and I can only thank you for that. Bedankt en Groetjes Shazzy
