NT2 test study books

Postby DutchCheese » Thu Jun 09, 2011 8:11 pm

Ello,

Does anyone know which books are used as textbooks for the NT2 test (level 2 for HBO) ?

I have Klare Taal, Uitgebreide Basisgrammatica NT2, are any other books used?

Cheers :-D

Hi!

These are the recommended books for NT2 Programma II: http://www.expertisecentrumnt2.nl/staat ... len-p2.asp

I highly recommend CODE 1 & 2 and Nederlands op niveau for program 2 exam. Both books come with CD-ROM. These books are for levels A2 to B2+, respectively. It's not easy, however to finish the book especially if you're planning to study them on your own (because of the level) so give it a little time before you register for the prog2 exam.

To give you a feel of the actual exam, try Examentrainer NT2 Programma II and all the sample exams you can find online.

Heel veel succes en veel plezier met jouw studie!

Groetjes!

There are more books nowadays to study Dutch as a second language than some years ago.
I used 'CODE' with many students, but I changed my books and method mainly because I work with small groups and/or with individual students.
In those cases CODE is not very helpful. And other books/methods have been launched during the last few years.
You can still use the ÇODE'-CD-roms though if you like, but the problem is that the book-method is based on 'classroom-situation'- where students have to perform tasks - mainly with small groups.
Other good books:
De Finale, Nederlands op Niveau.

But .... books are not enough ...on this level you need personal guidance from a good teacher as well, for example someone that can give professional feed-back during conversations. Someone who can check your written tasks...
This are very difficult tasks that can best be performed by a well-trained NT2-teacher.
Try to find one in your neighboorhoud, or through Linked-in...
Success!

Hoi,

I zoek CODE 2 CD-ROM. In fact I need only one file (ordner) from the CD "VIDEO".
I made a copy of the CD. But my ordner "VIDEO" is empty. The programm works, only I can not see video files.
Could anyone send me the ordner "VIDEO"?

Vriendelijk bedank.

books are good but the best way to be ready for the exams is to find all examples for NT2 staatsexamen and just see what to learn
