It is very common to place something after the right side of the core sentence, especially when you are dealing with long sentence components.
Only the following components can be placed after the right side: Time, manner, place, the indirect object, and the prepositional phrase. This means that a whole bunch of components is not allowed here:
Examples
| They gave an open-air concert on the Museum Square last week.
|
Place
- Placing the place? element after the right side:
| They gave an open-air concert on the Museum Square last week.
|
Time
- Placing the time? element after the right side:
| They gave an open-air concert on the Museum Square last week.
|
We cannot place the direct object after the right side. "Ze hebben vorige week op het Museumplein gegeven een openluchtconcert", is not possible.
Indirect object

| INDOB?
| OV?

| We hebben

Prepositional phrase
It is very common to place the prepositional phrase after the right side. The longer the prepositional phrase, the greater the necessity to place it outside the core sentence.
