I'll write this post in English because of the difficulty of the subject.

In Italian a preposition is always placed before a verb. This is from Latin, of course: "preposition" comes from "prae" (before) and "ponere" (to place).

In English this can be different: indeed English had Latin influences but it still remains a Germanic language and a preposition can often lie at the end of the sentence.

Let's make an example:
Italian: Non ho nulla con cui giocare.
(Almost) Literally in English: I have nothing with which I can play.
Preferred form in English: I have nothing to play with.

Now, when it comes to Dutch... Well, I still have problems with the translation.

I think I can say there are two possibilities:

1. Ik heb niks met welke ik kan spelen.
2. Ik heb niks om mee te spelen.

Although the first one seems complex and unnatural to me, I would in some way prefer it to the second one, which seems to be using the verb "meespelen" (and so with another meaning I think).

But if I add the word "later": I have nothing to play with later.

What do I get?

3. Ik heb niks met welke ik na kan spelen,
4. Ik heb niks om mee na te spelen.

So, among the four sentences, which are correct? And which are preferred? Are there any other forms I didn't mention?

De vertaling van de woorden 'with which' kun je beter vervangen door 'waarmee'. De enige zin die je nu goed hebt is zin 2.
Je zegt ook dat het een vorm is van het werkwoord 'meespelen', maar dat klopt niet. 'Meespelen' zou ik vertalen als 'to play along'. De uitdrukking is 'met iets spelen'.

'Met welke' in de eerste zin refereert aan een voorwerp dat niet genoemd wordt. Als je bijvoorbeeld had geschreven: "Ik heb een speelgoedauto, met welke ik kan spelen." zou dat wel goed zijn. Maar dat klinkt dan weer heel ouderwets.
Ik zou schrijven:
1. Ik heb niks waarmee ik kan spelen.
2. Ik heb niks om mee te spelen.

Als je het Engelse woord 'later' zou willen gebruiken, dan kun je dat ook in het Nederlands doen (later). Maar het woord 'straks' is nog beter.
'Na' is in ieder geval niet goed. In jouw vertaling gebruik je het woord 'naspelen' (reenact) en dat geeft dan een andere betekenis. Grammaticaal zijn ze wel in orde, maar de betekenis is niet correct. Zeker niet in vergelijking met je Engelse zinnen.
Ik zou schrijven:
3. Ik heb niks waarmee ik straks kan spelen.
4. Ik heb niks om straks mee te spelen.

Ik heb het woord 'straks' gebruikt, omdat het voor mijn gevoel een afzienbare tijd is waarin je wilt spelen. Als ik hier 'later' gebruik, is dat niet verkeerd. Maar het zou ook over een hele lange periode kunnen gaan ('later ... als ik groot ben'). Dus 'straks' lijkt me een duidelijkere optie.

Tussen zinnen 1 en 2, welke zou je meestal gebruiken? Welke zou je zeggen dat formeler klinkt?

Zin 1 klinkt het meest formeel. Ik zou zelf de tweede zin gebruiken.

Of zoiets:

Ik kan nergens mee spelen.

But that is not a literal translation

Ja, ik zie het, maar het is altijd goed om te weten hoe een moedertaalspreker iets zou zeggen.
