What is most correct, if I want to say

I haven't thought about that.

--> Ik heb daarover niet nagedacht.

--> Daar heb ik niet aan gedacht. / Ik heb er niet over nagedacht.

In analogy with german I would opt for the first sentence. What is the most usual and are those sentences correct?

You can use both, but I would change the first one a bit: Ik heb daar niet over nagedacht.

But I think that the most common sentence would be: Daar heb ik niet aan gedacht.

Although there is some difference between the sentences:
- Ik heb daar niet over nagedacht (réfléchir)
- Daar heb ik niet aan gedacht (oublier)
