Verb prefixes

[werkwoorden]
Regular verbs, irregular verbs, auxiliary verbs, compound verbs... When do we use which tense? What about those strange constructions the Dutch use to make a continuous? "Staat" my book on the shelf or "ligt" it? Ask all about Dutch verbs here.

Keren: turn, turn around
Bekeren: convert, reform

Sprak: speak
Afsprak: agree, make an appointment

Moorden: kill, murder
Vermoorden: murder, kill

Is there an online source for learning about these and other verb prefixes?

Unfortunately I didn't found one yet. I started a document for an advanced group I taught but it's still not complete. I shared it here: https://www.slideshare.net/MarijkevanLe ... -prefixpdf It's a work in progress so the list isn't complete yet and there is no explanation about the meanings yet. I'm planning of making a website around it but didn't found the time yet.
English isn't my first/best language. So in advance: Sorry for any mistakes!
